Competition Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions for Enfield Credit Union Promotions and social media competitions

The following t's and c's cover competitions and promotions held in branch and online via social media channels.

1. Employees or Volunteers of Enfield Credit Union may not enter the Promotion.
2. To enter this promotion on Facebook users must like the Enfield Credit Union Facebook page and do what the competition post asks
3. Only one entry is permitted per person.
4. The competition will close when the competition post states.
5. Enfield Credit Unions decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Late, incomplete or otherwise ineligible entries will be disqualified.
7. Winner(s) will be selected at random, from all correct and/or eligible entries received. The winners will be notified via Facebook or Instagram within 7 days of the closing date. Enfield Credit Union uses an independent website currently fanpagekarma.com to select winners based on the competition’s rules of entry i.e. like share or comment. The draw takes place in the presence of the Marketing Officer and at least one staff member or board member.
8. Enfield Credit Union keeps a record of all competition winners as per the ICLU guidance on the school quiz (competition run in the same manner) as 6 months after the winner has been announced or indefinitely where consent to be photographed as been obtained as its not possible to determine how long an image may remain online therefore it is a legitimate interest to retain this data.
9. Winners are notified via Facebook or by phone or email when this contact information has been supplied.
10. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Facebook is in no way responsible for any aspect of this promotion including its fulfilment.
11. There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
12. Enfield Credit Union reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.
13. If the winners cannot be contacted within a reasonable time period or are not able or available to accept the prize for any reason which is beyond the Enfield Credit Union reasonable control, then the Enfield Credit Union reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
14. Enfield Credit Unions decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry terms and conditions will be disqualified.
15. The name and photograph of the winners may be used by Enfield Credit Union and its associated companies for post-event publicity purposes. The winners agree to allow Enfield Credit Union to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration.
16. Prizes must be collected within 30 days of the winner being notified.
17. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Promotion.
